What are your qualifications?
Certified financial fiduciary. Master’s degree in business and finance. Thirty years’ experience as an investment broker. Extensively pursuing continuing financial education. Recognized by Who’s Who in Business and Finance.

What’s your investment philosophy?
People should start saving and investing as soon as possible. They should learn about compounding interest and compounding debt. Where possible, insure your income while young. Plan for life-time guaranteed income with COLA (pension or equivalent). Create long-term care plan to protect accumulated assets. Diversify accounts (Long-term, short-term taxable and non-taxable holdings).

How will our relationship work?
I will contact you when and how you want. I will provide financial literacy education for you and your family, especially the kids.

What financial instruments do you use?
I work with cash, insurance, annuities, bonds, 529 college plans, mutual funds, and simplified employee pensions (SEPs).

Are you a fiduciary?
Yes, and I’m duly certified.

How do you get paid?
Commissions, and hourly fees for advice and/or referrals.

Do you have a refund policy?
The plans I typically use have a cancellation clause and money-back provision.

What are my all-in costs?
If I get a commission, I charge nothing to my clients. If clients want only advice, my normal rate is $135 per hour. Faith-based organizations, non-profits, and low-income families, I offer pro bono service.

Do you work with organizations as well as individuals?
Yes. If there is a board of directors, I will ask for a consensus vote.

Do you help people who can’t afford a financial advisor?
Yes. Most of my work is currently pro bono.
